My name is Emily Newby
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated game designer with robust experience in Unreal Engine and Unity. I'm notably passionate about how immersion is created through design, both technical and level to create fun experiences that stay with players. Being employed by Huey Games, as an intern in the summer of 2023, I developed key insights into design processes within the industry. I take pride in incorporating this experience into my work for example at the university's simulated games studio Cheddar Cat.

Currently, I'm working as the Lead Designer at VEXT GAMES on our upcoming title Vextorial. After going through the Tranzfuser programme and being selected for funding by the UK Games Fund, we're excited to be working towards our mid-2025 release
